Join Sanofi and Regeneron at CHEST 2025 at the Marriott Marquis Chicago, Grand Horizon ABC, for two engaging educational symposia and a COPD Learning Theater in Exhibit Hall – Learning Theater 1. Asthma and COPD are chronic, heterogeneous, inflammatory diseases of the lower airway characterized by airflow obstruction, shortness of breath, and exacerbations, which are serious acute respiratory events marked by heightened respiratory symptoms. CRSwNP is predominantly driven by type 2 inflammation and results in polyp formation and significant patient burden, including loss of smell, which can be worsened in patients with coexisting asthma. It is therefore important for healthcare professionals to recognize both the shared inflammatory mechanisms and the distinct ways these diseases may present in clinical practice.
On Monday, October 20, 2025, from 6:00-7:30 PM CST, Global experts Antonio Anzueto and Diego Maselli will discuss the burden of COPD with type 2 inflammation and its clinical consequences, followed by a review of Phase 3 data for dupilumab, highlighting its data for exacerbations, lung function, symptoms, and quality of life.
On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 6:00-7:15 PM CST, Dr. Mario Castro, FCCP and Dr. Giselle Mosnaim will discuss how type 2 inflammation drives mucus plug formation, how coexisting asthma influences disease burden in CRSwNP, and dupilumab data in reducing mucus burden and clinical outcomes.
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 10:30–11:15 AM CST, Global expert Dr. Nicola Hanania will lead an interactive COPD Learning Theater, examining the impact of exacerbations, lung function decline, and quality-of-life impairment on COPD disease burden. The session will also review Phase 3 BOREAS and NOTUS trial results for dupilumab, highlighting key outcomes and subgroups, and will invite attendees to share clinical perspectives and engage in collaborative discussion.
Each event will conclude with an opportunity to engage with our distinguished faculty—through live audience Q&A during the symposia and collaborative discussion during the Learning Theater—so please come ready with your questions and insights.
